Why prices differ between branches
- Franchise autonomy. Every owner sets their own prices, within the brand rules.
- Rent and wages. A city-centre or airport unit costs far more to run than a suburban high street, and the menu board shows it.
- Supply costs. Chicken, oil and packaging prices keep moving, and imported stock makes that worse in some countries.
- Delivery apps. Prices on Just Eat, Uber Eats and Deliveroo are usually higher than the ones in the shop.
- Local taxes. VAT, sales tax or an eat-in surcharge may or may not be in the price on display, depending on the country.
