Dixy Chicken Meal Deals & Vouchers (UK 2026)

Dixy Chicken Info is an independent guide. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with Dixy Chicken or Dixy Group Holdings Limited. Prices below were checked against branch menus and delivery listings in October 2026 and vary by branch.

Dixy Chicken value meal box with fried chicken, fries, burger and drink

Short version: the best value at Dixy Chicken is hiding in plain sight, in the named meal deals each branch puts on its own menu board. There is no national voucher scheme, no loyalty app and no official promo code. What there is, branch by branch, is a set of bundles that can cut the cost of a meal by a third compared with ordering the same items separately. This guide rounds up the deals worth knowing, the cheapest items on the menu, and the one or two genuine discounts that actually work.

Not sure which coating to pick in a box? Our Sizzler vs Classic guide explains how the two differ.

The headline deals

Two deals show up at branch after branch, and they anchor most “best value” conversations about Dixy.

DealPriceWhat you get
Mega Deal£8.99At Radcliffe: 2 pieces of chicken, 2 sizzler wings, a fillet or sizzler burger, gravy, fries and a drink
Mini Deal£4.991 piece of chicken, 2 wings, 1 strip, fries and a drink
Prices checked October 2026. Contents vary by branch; see the name lottery below.

The Mini Deal at £4.99 is the standout for a single person: a proper meal with a drink for under a fiver, at a time when a comparable bundle at the big chains costs half as much again. The Mega Deal at £8.99 feeds one hungry person very well or two people lightly. Both are on our UK menu prices page alongside the standard items. Most bundles mix Classic Recipe chicken with spicier Sizzler wings, and our Sizzler vs Classic guide explains how the two coatings differ.

The Mega Deal name lottery

Here is the thing nobody tells you about Dixy deals: the name guarantees nothing. Because every branch is a franchise, each owner builds their own bundles, and several have independently decided to call theirs the Mega Deal. The result is a lottery. Same name, completely different meals.

BranchTheir “Mega Deal”Price
Radcliffe2pc chicken, 2 sizzler wings, burger, gravy, fries, drink£8.99
Blackburn8 pieces of chicken, a 10-inch pizza and a 1.5 litre drink£17.99
London (The Chase)Mega Deal 1 to 6, a ladder of bundles for different group sizes£22.99 to £23.99
Longsight30 wings£24.99
Crawley20 or 30 sizzler wings£19.99 / £23.99
Same deal name, five different meals. Always read the contents, not the title.

The lesson is simple: never order a deal by name alone. Read what is actually in it, compare it against the separate prices on the board, and check the branch’s current menu on its delivery app listing before you go, because bundles change without notice. Our price guides by country track the standard menu; branch deals like these move faster than any website can follow, including this one.

Boxes and bundles worth knowing

Beyond the two headline deals, these bundles recur across branches and are usually where the per-person cost drops lowest:

  • Combo Box, £6.99. A burger-based box with sides and a drink; a solid solo meal.
  • Mexican Loaded Box, £7.49. The loaded-fries style box, for when you want something other than pieces and a burger.
  • Peri Meal Deal, £13.99. Built around the peri peri range; see our peri peri menu guide for what is in the range.
  • Pizza Meal Deal, £13.49. Branches with a pizza counter bundle a pizza with sides and drinks.
  • Burger Combo, £14.99. A multi-burger bundle aimed at two people.
  • Variety Box, £17.99. A mixed box of chicken, wings and strips for sharing.
  • Dixy Family Bucket, £18.49. The best family feed we have found on price per head; it undercuts comparable family bundles at rival chains by a wide margin.

The cheapest way to eat at Dixy

If the budget is the whole point, these are the floor prices we have found. The Snack Pack at £3.49 is the cheapest hot item we have seen on a Dixy menu, and the Mini Combo Box at £3.99 (spotted in Fallowfield, Manchester) is the cheapest bundle. Several branches, Crawley among them, run lunch saver menus in the £6.99 to £7.99 range on weekday lunchtimes, which is the best time to buy if your branch offers one. Add the Mini Deal at £4.99 and there are four separate ways to eat for under £8, which is more than most chicken chains can say.

Vouchers: the honest answer

There are no official Dixy Chicken voucher codes. The chain runs no national voucher scheme and has no loyalty app, unlike Popeyes with its Rewards programme (see our Dixy vs Popeyes comparison). So what are all those voucher websites promising “Dixy Chicken promo codes, verified today”? In our experience: clickbait. The codes either do not exist, expired years ago, or turn out to be generic delivery app offers dressed up as Dixy exclusives. We would not type personal details into any of them.

The discounts that genuinely work come from the delivery platforms, not from Dixy itself:

  • Student discount on Just Eat. Students get 20% off through StudentBeans, and it applies to Dixy orders placed on the platform. It is a Just Eat offer, not a Dixy one, and it needs a verified student account.
  • Just Eat Price Promise. If you find a menu item cheaper in-store than on Just Eat within the promise terms, the platform makes up the difference. Worth knowing, because delivery menus often run £1 to £2 per item above the in-shop board.
  • Platform promotions. Uber Eats and Deliveroo run rotating money-off and free-delivery offers that include Dixy branches from time to time. They appear in the apps, not on voucher sites.

And the oldest discount of all: order direct. As we explain in our delivery and opening hours guide, in-store and phone-for-collection prices are usually the lowest the branch offers, because no app commission is baked in.

Common questions

What is the best value meal deal at Dixy Chicken?

For one person, the Mini Deal at £4.99 (chicken, wings, a strip, fries and a drink) is hard to beat. For a family, the Dixy Family Bucket at £18.49 gives the lowest cost per head we have found.

Does Dixy Chicken have voucher codes?

No. There is no official voucher scheme, promo code or loyalty app. Sites advertising Dixy Chicken codes are not connected to the chain, and the codes generally do not work. Real discounts come from the delivery platforms.

Why is the Mega Deal different at every branch?

Because Dixy branches are franchises and each owner builds their own bundles. Several branches use the Mega Deal name for entirely different meals, from an £8.99 solo bundle to a £24.99 wing feast. Always check the contents at your branch.

What is the cheapest item at Dixy Chicken?

The cheapest hot item we have found is the Snack Pack at £3.49, and the cheapest bundle is the Mini Combo Box at £3.99. Prices vary by branch, so check your local menu.

Do students get a discount at Dixy Chicken?

Not from Dixy directly, but Just Eat offers students 20% off through StudentBeans, and it applies to Dixy orders placed through Just Eat with a verified student account.

Are Dixy Chicken deals cheaper in-store or on delivery apps?

In-store, almost always. Delivery app menus typically run £1 to £2 per item above the shop board, before delivery and service fees. Ordering direct for collection is the cheapest route.
