Norway is one of Dixy Chicken’s longer-standing markets outside Britain, with franchised shops selling halal fried chicken in and around Oslo and a few other towns.
The menu is the usual Dixy line-up of chicken pieces, fillet burgers, wings and wraps. The prices are not. Norwegian wages and rents are high, so in krone the menu looks steep, and Norway is the dearest market on this site by a clear margin.
The prices below include Norwegian VAT. Takeaway and eat-in are taxed differently, and eat-in gets the higher rate, so the same meal costs more if you sit down with it.

How much do prices vary in Norway?
Central Oslo shops sit at the top of every range. Smaller towns and suburban shopping areas usually run 15 to 25% cheaper. Takeaway carries the lower food VAT rate, so the same burger meal can differ by about 10% depending on whether you sit in. Foodora and Wolt listings are visibly marked up on counter prices.
